Smoke Test and Preorder Store
almost 5 years ago – Fri, Jun 07, 2019 at 05:58:46 PM

Howdy everyone!

We're pleased to announce that we've officially partnered with Backerkit and they've been very helpful so far. Surveys are on their way to a few backers right this minute. This is a called a "smoke test" just to see if there are any problems that we didn't plan for. As of now, everything looks pretty great. As soon as we finish this test, everyone will be getting their surveys to fill out.

Our preorder store is also up for anyone who might have missed the campaign or just didn't have time to back it while it was going on. Feel free to check things out and give us feedback on everything.

Thank you all so much.

Our first huge meeting. (Post Kickstarter Campaign)
almost 5 years ago – Thu, May 30, 2019 at 12:32:20 AM

Part of getting everything organized and making sure things get done in a timely manner is having weekly meetings. We've been doing this for months now but we wanted to record them once a month to let you all know what it's like to work on a project like this. The video is below as well as a breakdown of the content in case you'd rather not watch it (it's rather long).

Video Contents:

  • Organizing the bulk of stretch goal content
  • Deciding which artist will be working on what images
  • Creating a time frame for the Arc 2 to Arc 3 break
  • Setting a goal for how far along we'll be by the end of the summer
  • The creation of surveys for highest backers who are making modules

If you have questions or comments, we'd love to hear them. We'll be posting frequent updates as well to keep you all in the loop.

Thanks,

Jason

We Did It!
almost 5 years ago – Mon, May 20, 2019 at 11:02:06 PM

It's been a long month but we're finally done.

Thank you to everyone that shared and backed this project. We'll be prepping things pretty hard for the next two weeks as pledges get sorted and slowly taken. It should be sometime next month when money finally hits our bank account and we can get artists working on things.

We wrapped with $87,000 and just to clarify, we will be doing every stretch goal up to and including that point. We just can't update the campaign anymore lol. We'll also be doing pretty frequent updates as we get everything together for the book. We can't wait for this to get going. :)

Let's talk about: "Psions"
almost 5 years ago – Fri, May 17, 2019 at 01:32:26 AM

Therian Psions are near and dear to my heart.

During the early days of the show I started experimenting with class balancing and powers. I was toying around with the idea of a class where they had to draw power from emotion. A group of people who could hold their own in a fight, not because they were strong or skilled with a blade, but because they felt so strongly and it fueled them with amazing powers.

Powers are granted from emotions like anger, hate, love and joy and all them have wildly different effects on the battlefield. Fantastic energy powered punches that can knock monsters across a room, protective barriers that can buy a loved one a bit more time in a fight and even devastating explosions of fury that can destroy whole buildings.

Of course, these powers come at a cost. It takes a tremendous toll on the body and many just can’t keep up with the strain. This can vary greatly between races and nothing is guaranteed.

I’m truly exited to be able to  (finally) share this with you all. I hope you have as much playing this class as our cast has over the years.  - Jason
